Timeline Note This is a sample timeline based on a 4:00 PM contracted start time. Your coordinator will help tailor your final timeline to your wedding day needs. All events must conclude by 10:00 PM in accordance with county noise ordinances.

Vendors

Legacy Lane works with a curated list of preferred vendors who are familiar with the venue and consistently provide exceptional service.

Vendor Requirements
  • All vendors must be selected from the preferred list or approved by Legacy Lane before booking.
  • Outside vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance.
  • The certificate must list "Montzka Realty, LLC dba Legacy Lane Weddings" as an additional insured.
  • Deadline: no later than two weeks before the wedding.
  • Vendors who do not provide proper insurance may not service the event.
  • All vendors on property must be licensed and insured.

Wedding Planner

Legacy Lane provides built-in coordination support, with optional additional planning help available.

  • Hiring an outside planner is optional.
  • Legacy Lane provides a dedicated coordinator.
  • The coordinator answers questions, provides up to two hours of event planning consultation, and assists with day-of coordination.
  • Additional planning hours may be purchased.
  • If you hire an outside planner, share their contact information with Legacy Lane so both teams can collaborate smoothly.

Catering

Caterers are responsible for full food service, dining equipment, staffing, and non-alcoholic beverage service during dinner.

  • Caterer must provide china, flatware, glassware, serving equipment, staffing, setup, cleanup, and table bussing.
  • Caterer must also provide a non-alcoholic beverage station or table service during dinner such as water, tea, or coffee.
  • Bar drinks are handled separately by the bartender.
  • Schedule tastings before booking.
  • Confirm dietary restrictions and special meal accommodations.
  • Vendor meals are typically required and should also be provided for bartenders and Legacy Lane staff.

DJ / Entertainment

Entertainment should be planned with the venue layout and noise ordinance in mind.

  • Couples may choose a DJ or live band.
  • Legacy Lane has three music locations: ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
  • Entertainment should plan setup accordingly.
  • All music must end by 10:00 PM to comply with county noise rules.
  • Your coordinator can help communicate setup expectations.

Photographer & Videographer

Book enough coverage time to capture the day well, and align both teams on the same schedule.

  • Recommend about 8 hours of service.
  • If fewer hours are booked, the coordinator can help prioritize moments.
  • Photographer and videographer should ideally work the same timeframe.
  • The coordinator will share the final timeline with both teams.

Florist

Couples may use Legacy Lane decor and silk florals or work with a live florist of their choice.

  • Legacy Lane offers decorations and silk florals.
  • Live florals are also welcome.
  • Florists are often especially useful for bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and personal flowers.
  • Schedule a florist consultation around vision, budget, and color palette.

Bartender

Legacy Lane provides bartender service, while couples provide the beverages.

  • Bartenders provide cups, stirrers, cocktail napkins, ice, and garnishes.
  • Couples provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Suggested sourcing examples: ABC Liquor, Costco, Sam's Club, or catering providers.
  • Last call is 9:00 PM.
  • Bar closes at 9:15 PM.
  • Bar list and signature drinks should be submitted at least one week before the wedding.
  • Shots and kegs are not permitted.

Most vendors require a meal. Couples should also plan meals for bartenders and Legacy Lane staff.

Gratuity

Gratuity is appreciated but optional and always at the couple's discretion.

Wedding Insurance

  • Wedding insurance is required for all couples.
  • If purchased through Ewed, the policy is automatically sent to Legacy Lane.
  • If purchased elsewhere, email a copy to lindsey@legacylaneweddings.com and include your name and wedding date.
  • Please review contract requirements when selecting coverage.

Music End Time

All music must conclude by 10:00 PM.

Bar Service Timing

  • Last call: 9:00 PM.
  • Bar closes: 9:15 PM.

Rehearsal Dinner

A relaxed evening to gather and rehearse with your closest guests.

Legacy Lane offers two rehearsal dinner options. Couples should contact their coordinator for package details, pricing, and the best fit for their group.

What to Share With Guests

  • Parking attendants or valet will be available, depending on the couple's selection.
  • Ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors.
  • Reception is indoors in an air-conditioned space.
  • Couples may request a venue map from their coordinator to include on invitations or their wedding website.

Communication

  • Once assigned, the coordinator becomes the main point of contact.

Driver Requirements

  • Drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Only registered drivers are permitted to operate the golf cart.

Safety Rules

⚠ Zero-Tolerance Policy
Operating a golf cart under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate confiscation of the cart without refund.
  • Maximum of 4 passengers at all times.
  • No standing on carts while in motion.
  • Operate carts responsibly and safely at all times.
  • Aggressive driving is not permitted.

Permitted Use

  • Stay on gravel roads whenever possible.
  • Golf carts must remain on the property at: 120 Legacy Lane

Do not drive through:

  • Wedding ceremony or reception areas
  • Animal pastures
  • Wooded areas
🕘 Wedding Day Restriction
No cart operation on the wedding day from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM to ensure guest and staff safety.

Care & Responsibility

  • Turn off the cart and remove the key when parked.
  • The renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Lost key fee: $20 replacement charge.
  • Report any issues or malfunctions to staff immediately.

Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Golf Cart Rental Rules and agree to comply with all terms. I understand that operating a golf cart under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of rental privileges without refund.

Golf Cart Rental Waiver

It is expressly understood and agreed by and between the parties that the following terms apply. Please initial each section to acknowledge your understanding, then sign below.

Acknowledgment of Risk

The use of a golf cart is inherently dangerous and may result in serious personal injury or death. The lessor shall not be held responsible for any injury or death resulting from the use of a rented vehicle. The lessee assumes full responsibility for any injury sustained by themselves or others while operating or occupying the vehicle.

Authorized Use

The lessee agrees that the golf cart will not be used, operated, or loaned to any person who:

  • Provided false or misleading information to obtain the vehicle
  • Is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs safe operation
  • Is operating the vehicle in a reckless, careless, or abusive manner
  • Is under the age of 18 or does not possess a valid driver’s license

Responsibility for Loss or Damage

The lessee accepts full financial responsibility for:

  • Any damage to the golf cart beyond normal wear and tear
  • Any property damage caused while operating the golf cart
  • The full replacement value of the golf cart in the event of loss, theft, or destruction

Violation of Terms

Improper use of the golf cart, as determined solely by the lessor or its representatives, will result in immediate confiscation of the vehicle. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Release of Liability

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge and agree that:

•  I assume all risks associated with the use of the golf cart
•  I waive any right to bring legal action against Legacy Lane Weddings for injuries, damages, or losses sustained during use
•  I release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue Legacy Lane Weddings, its owners, staff, or affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from the use of the golf cart

Addendum to Venue Rental Contract

Pet Agreement

This Pet Agreement is incorporated into and forms part of the Venue Rental Contract between Montzka Realty, LLC, doing business as Legacy Lane Weddings, and the Renters listed below. As pets are otherwise prohibited without prior approval, all parties must agree to the following terms and conditions.

General Terms

  • This agreement applies only to the pet listed above. No additional pets belonging to guests, family members, or vendors are permitted on the property.
  • Renters must provide a photo of the pet prior to the event.
  • Legacy Lane reserves the right to revoke pet privileges at any time if this agreement is violated.

Supervision & Control

  • The pet must be under control at all times.
  • When outdoors, the pet must be leashed at all times (tethering is not permitted).
  • The pet may not be left unattended for unreasonable periods.
  • The pet must not display aggressive or disruptive behavior toward guests, staff, or animals. Any issues must be addressed immediately upon notice.

Location Restrictions

The pet is permitted only in the Lodge. Pets are not allowed in any other houses on the property.

⚠ Violation fine: $150 per house.
  • Due to health and safety regulations, pets are not permitted in food preparation or service areas, including the reception and cocktail hour.

A designated pet handler is required during the ceremony. The handler must be responsible for the pet at all times during event activities.

Fees & Financial Responsibility

Non-Refundable Pet Fee: $150 per pet
This fee does not cover damages. Renters agree to pay for any additional costs incurred due to the pet.

Liability

  • Renters assume full responsibility for their pet at all times.
  • Renters agree to hold harmless Legacy Lane, its owners, and staff from any injury, death, or loss involving the pet, including incidents involving farm animals or wildlife.
  • Renters are responsible for any veterinary expenses resulting from injury caused by their pet to other animals.

Breed Restrictions

🐾 Aggressive breeds are not permitted on the property.

Final Acknowledgment

While pets are welcome for ceremony participation, Legacy Lane reserves the right to require the removal of any animal at its sole discretion. Even well-trained pets may behave unpredictably in unfamiliar environments. Renters are encouraged to consider the comfort and safety of all guests, as not all individuals are comfortable around animals.
